PEMBA INC is a small woman owned local business which was started by Patricia and

P. Michael Smith in July of 1997. PEMBA started as an engineering and lighting controls

design company and in 2001 operations were expanded to include sales of lighting control

systems, light fixtures, electrical products and audio video products and services.

Patricia Smith, Owner/President/COO:

25 years of automation experience, 10 years of electrical engineering, has been involved

in the Lighting Industry since 1994, is a member of the American Lighting Society and a member

of the IEEE. Patricia holds a bachelor of science in computer science and an MBA. Patricia’s

focus is Lighting Design, architectural lighting, lighting control solutions and programming, and

residential and commercial electrical take offs and review.

Michael Smith, Owner/VP of Engineering

40 years of Electrical Engineering experience, is a senior member of the Institute of

Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), is a degreed and registered Professional Engineer

and has an MBA. Michael’s focus is in Power Distribution and Electrical Design

Nicole Sciacca, Design Engineer:

Nicole is an electrical engineer with experience in commercial lighting design, controls

projects and electrical design. Nicole’s strength is project management and customer

communications.

David Heap, Managing Director of CC-CleanTech

David is certified in sustainable construction and renewal energy alternatives.

Ray Milligan, Electrical Sales and Audio Video Design

Ray is a degreed electronics professional with over 20 years of experience in the low voltage

business and 5 years in electrical sales.

PEMBA’s physical presence is a lighting and electrical distributor with a warehouse and showroom

in Belle Chasse. AT this single location we supply materials for a variety of job sizes and types as

well as stock materials for daily counter sales.
