Central Vacuum System

 

PEMBA specifies and sells the central vacuum system from Beam Industries.   We have selected this model after testing others and found for only a few dollars more we can sell and install a top of the line vacuum system.

The research
Indoor air pollution is one of the most common problems addressed by allergists and is troublesome for their patients. Central vacuum systems often are recommended for removing pollutants.  In recent years allergy and asthma have grown at explosive rates.  Together, they cause more lost school and work days than any other disease.  Childhood asthma is growing at alarming rates and there’s no cure, so it’s a lifetime affliction.

The findings
Unlike conventional vacuums that can recirculate dust, a Beam system removes dust, mites, pollen, animal dander and other allergens, and is superior to a conventional vacuum in providing relief from allergy symptoms.

 

The Great News

Researchers at the University of California at Davis set out to determine whether a central vacuum system can relieve allergy symptoms.  A 2001 study by Drs. Gershwin and Naguwa of the University of California shows that the Beam power units reduce suffering and misery of ALL seven groups of symptoms typical of airborne allergies.

 

Traditional dusting: Ineffective and harmful.
Dusting your home the old fashioned way with rags and scented sprays is ineffective and can be harmful. That's because dust is recirculated, and chemicals are introduced into the living environment which can be extremely hazardous to allergy and asthma sufferers.
